The role of a Server at Oakmont of Torrance is essential in ensuring a positive dining experience for residents, family members, and visitors. This position is full-time and part-time, with shifts primarily scheduled from Saturday through Monday, including specific hours on Saturday (11 am to 7:30 pm), Sunday (6 am to 2:30 pm), and Monday through Wednesday (11 am to 7:30 pm). The pay range for this role is competitive, ranging from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour.

As a Server, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering food service in a friendly and courteous manner, while performing various duties within the dining area and kitchen to enhance the customer's experience in alignment with the company’s mission and values. This role involves taking accurate food and beverage orders using the point-of-sale (POS) system, setting up and breaking down tables, and ensuring compliance with proper serving techniques and etiquette, such as serving from the left and clearing used dishes between courses. The Server must maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests by adhering to established safety standards. Additionally, encouraging teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments is a key part of this role.
