This particular opportunity is for Full Time Culinary Servers within the Dining Rooms of the Culinary Department. The role is full-time, typically involving 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, requiring flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends. The shifts vary across all seven days of the week reflecting the dynamic needs of the dining services. The position involves providing food and beverage service in an À la Carte, full-service dining atmosphere, ensuring every resident and guest experiences hospitality of the highest calibre. Culinary Servers are expected to display a service and solutions-oriented disposition, taking ownership in problem-solving and initiative to enhance the dining experience continually. Teamwork and communication are essential as servers collaborate with other coworkers while maintaining a friendly and courteous demeanor towards residents, patients, and visitors. The role demands a strong attention to safety protocols, cleanliness, and presentation to uphold the integrity and quality standards of the culinary service. Responsibilities include opening and closing procedures, managing table settings with clean linens, folding and sorting silverware and napkins, maintaining food temperature standards, and supporting special events within the community. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 months - 1 year in A la Carte and food service industry experience required
- Food Handlers card required by first day of work
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
- Ability to be patient and gracious with residents

Job Duties
- Provide food and beverage service in dining room
- Serve residents and guests in A la Carte, full-service atmosphere with attention to detail and hospitality
- Model a service and solutions-oriented attitude towards others, take ownership in solving problems and take initiative to make things better
- Be friendly and courteous to residents, patients and co-workers
- Ensure resident/patient, visitor, self and co-worker safety by remaining aware of and reporting any new or existing safety hazards
- Maintain good attendance record
- arrive to work timely and conform to scheduled work hours
- Wear appropriate and assigned protective gear, i.e. apron, hair net, mask
- Follow opening and closing procedures including workstations
- Clean and/or pull dishes from dish room to dining area
- Complete daily cleaning according to schedule or Supervisor’s instructions
- Assist with any special events as assigned
- Reset tables to specifications with clean pressed linen
- Fold and sort silverware and napkins for dining room
- Set-up hot buffet/salad bar/desserts/beverages/service side stations and take temperatures of food before service, clean appropriately at the end of service
- Assume other responsibilities as assigned
