Job Description

Wallick Senior Living is an employee-owned community devoted to providing compassionate, high-quality care in warm, welcoming environments for seniors. With more than 1,000 employees, the company emphasizes a mission centered on opening doors to homes, opportunity, and hope for its residents and staff. By fostering a collaborative and supportive workplace culture, Wallick Senior Living prioritizes both the wellbeing of its residents and the professional growth of its employees. This approach creates an environment where every employee-owner plays a vital and recognized role in the community's success and the residents' quality of life.

At Ashford of Beavercreek, one of Wallick Senior Living’s communities, the Server role is a full-time position with a pay rate of $14 per hour. This role is foundational for delivering a positive dining experience to residents, which is an integral part of their daily enjoyment and quality of life. As a Server, you will be responsible for attending to residents’ meal requests, ensuring they receive excellent service during mealtimes, and maintaining a clean and inviting dining environment. This position is not just about serving food and drinks but about creating a warm, hospitable atmosphere where residents feel cared for and valued.

Wallick’s Servers help prepare the dining room before meals by setting up tables and ensuring the environment is inviting and ready for service. After meals, Servers aid in cleanup efforts to uphold the community’s standards of cleanliness and comfort. The role also involves maintaining stock at beverage stations including juice bars, coffee, and iced tea, as well as ensuring that all utensils, cups, and glasses are clean and readily available. This hands-on position requires a team player who is flexible and willing to assist with other tasks to support the residents and colleagues.

More than just a job, the Server role at Wallick Senior Living offers career development opportunities including tuition reimbursement, professional training, and advancement pathways within a company that truly invests in its people. As part of a 100% employee-owned company, staff members benefit not only from competitive wages but also from financial participation in the company’s profitability. Additionally, employees have access to an exceptional benefits package, which includes health, dental, and vision insurance effective within two weeks of employment, along with gym membership reimbursements and paid parental leave, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Wallick Senior Living values diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, fostering an environment where all associates feel empowered to bring their authentic selves to work. With nearly 60 years of dedication to safe and inclusive workplace practices, Wallick ensures nondiscrimination on any prohibited grounds and celebrates the unique contributions each team member brings.

Joining Wallick Senior Living as a Server means becoming part of a caring community dedicated to making a meaningful difference in seniors’ lives. If you are compassionate, dependable, and eager to support a vibrant and friendly dining experience, this is a rewarding career opportunity where you can grow professionally while making a positive impact every day.
