The Server position at Capriana is a vital role responsible for enhancing the dining experience of residents, their families, and visitors. The role requires serving food and beverages in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner while maintaining strict adherence to the company's mission and values. Servers are tasked with accurately taking orders, using point of sale (POS) systems, and ensuring that all serving etiquette and safety standards are met. The position operates on a Thursday through Monday schedule from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM, with an hourly pay rate ranging from $16.90 to $18.00. This Server position does not require prior experience, as training will be provided to the right candidate. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and possess a work permit. They must also pass a criminal background check and health screenings, including physical and TB tests. Additionally, in line with current health and safety protocols, vaccination, daily health screenings, surveillance testing, and the use of personal protective equipment may be required to maintain a safe environment.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and families
  • Willingness to comply with Oakmont Management Group's health and safety protocols including vaccination and PPE use
  • Ability to work Thursday through Monday from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM
  • Ability to perform physical tasks related to serving and setting tables

Job Qualifications

  • For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines

Job Duties

  • Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, efficient, and courteous manner
  • Accurately and professionally take residents' and guests' food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS (point of sale computer)
  • Set up and break down (bus) tables
  • Assure compliance with all proper serving techniques/etiquette (e.g. serving from left, clearing used dishes between courses, etc.)
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards
  • Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments
