The Server role at The Outlook at Windhaven involves providing exemplary food and beverage service within a dining room setting designed to offer a la carte, full-service dining experiences. This position supports an environment where residents and guests are treated with respect and hospitality, and every interaction is conducted with attention to detail and care. The server serves as an ambassador of the community’s values, modeling a service- and solution-oriented attitude, taking initiative to address challenges, and always striving to improve the experience for residents and guests.

Final compensation for this position is competitive and will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications, aligned with the organization’s pay scale. The hourly wage ranges from $18.25 to $20.75, reflecting the importance of this role within the community. Job Requirements

High school graduate or GED
6 months to 1 year of relevant food service experience
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Ability to be patient and gracious with residents
Availability to work scheduled hours punctually
Willingness to follow safety protocols and wear protective gear
Ability to handle physical tasks such as cleaning and setting up dining areas

Job Qualifications

High school graduate or GED
6 months to 1 year in a la carte and food service industry experience
Experience in customer service is preferred
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
Ability to be patient and gracious with residents

Job Duties

Provide food and beverage service in dining room
Serve residents and guests in a la carte, full-service atmosphere with attention to detail and hospitality
Model a service and solutions-oriented attitude towards others, take ownership in solving problems and take the initiative to make things better
Be friendly and courteous to residents, patients and co-workers
Ensure resident, patient, visitor, self and co-worker safety by remaining aware of and reporting any new or existing safety hazards
Maintain a good attendance record
arrive to work timely and conform to scheduled work hours
Wear appropriate and assigned protective gear such as apron, hair net, mask
Follow opening and closing procedures including workstations
Clean and/or pull dishes from dish room to dining area
Complete daily cleaning according to schedule or Supervisor's instructions
Assist with any special events as assigned
Reset tables to specifications with clean pressed linen
Fold and sort silverware and napkins for dining room
Set-up hot buffet, salad bar, desserts, beverages, service side stations and take temperatures of food before service, clean appropriately at the end of service
Assume other responsibilities as assigned
