Job Description

Currently, QSL Management is seeking dedicated individuals to join their team at The Blake at LPGA as Servers. The role of the Server is central to delivering a gracious and memorable dining experience for residents and guests. Responsibilities include guiding guests through menu options with extensive knowledge of food and beverages, maintaining impeccable cleanliness and hygiene in all dining areas, and assisting in both the bar and coffee shop as scheduled. Servers work closely with team members to ensure orders are accurate and meals are delivered promptly, upholding world-class service standards. The role also involves supporting meal preparation, restocking supplies, and participating in special events and activities as needed. This position requires a compassionate heart and a genuine willingness to serve others, especially within the senior living community.

The Server position at The Blake at LPGA is ideal for individuals with food service or hospitality experience, who enjoy working in a vibrant, service-oriented environment and are capable of flexible scheduling including holidays and weekends. Knowledge of POS systems and certifications like ServSafe and bar cards (if applicable) are preferred. Job Requirements

  • Must have a caring heart, willing to serve others
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • ServSafe certification if applicable by state requirements
  • Food server or hospitality experience required
  • Bar card preferred if applicable to state requirements
  • Willingness to work with the elderly in a senior living environment and prepare food which meets or exceeds hospitality and service standards
  • Knowledge of a POS system preferred
  • Able to be flexible and work a variety of shifts including holidays, weekends and for pre-planned special events
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with staff and residents

Job Duties

  • Ensure that all residents and guests receive gracious hospitality and have a pleasant dining experience
  • Assist in bar and coffee shop as scheduled
  • Guide guests through menus, demonstrating thorough knowledge of the food and beverages
  • Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards in all dining areas
  • Take accurate orders and partner with team members to deliver great food in an organized manner to provide prompt, world class service
  • Set and reset tables in line with company standards
  • Assist with meal preparation if requested
  • Assist with maintaining stock levels of bar, coffee shop and front of the house
  • Assist with special events and activities as requested
