The Full-Time Server role at Wildewood Downs is a vital position within this esteemed community, charged with delivering exceptional food and beverage service to residents, their families, and guests. This role is more than just serving meals; it is about providing a warm, friendly, courteous, respectful, and engaging dining experience that enhances the quality of life for each individual in the community. The server is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, beverage machines, and other workspaces, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all.
In this position, teamwork and communication are paramount as servers assist in setting up and breaking down dining tables and stations before and after meals, participate in training new team members, and support special functions and private dining events. The job also includes physical demands such as standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to various work environment challenges, demonstrating the need for a dedicated and resilient individual. The position does not typically require travel, though occasional travel for training and company functions may be necessary. Wildewood Downs encourages applications from individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and who are eager to contribute to a team that values excellence, compassion, and integrity.
