Job Description

The Heritage at Brentwood is a premier senior living community dedicated to providing high-quality food and exceptional southern hospitality to its residents. As a leading facility in senior care, The Heritage at Brentwood encompasses several distinct dining venues including Fireside Grille, a contemporary restaurant serving American classics and comfort dishes throughout the day; Southern Oak, an upscale dining venue known for its exquisite dinner offerings in an elegant setting; Steeplechase Lounge, a favored spot for evening socializing with classic cocktails; Corner Market, which provides fresh baked pastries, coffee, grocery items, and quick bites; and Poplar Hall, which hosts catered events across the community. In addition, the Somerfield Health Center, a highly rated skilled nursing and assisted living facility within the community, provides excellent dietary services to its residents.

Currently, The Heritage at Brentwood is looking to fill a full-time position offering a competitive wage of $18 per hour. The typical work schedule comprises 40 hours weekly, split between three days from 10am to 8pm and two days from 3pm to 8:30pm, with no late nights or evening shifts on Sundays or holidays, making it a balanced and family-friendly work opportunity. Training is provided, and no previous experience is required, making this a great entry-level position for candidates aged 16 or older.

The position involves maintaining a high level of customer service for residents and guests, taking orders courteously, clearing tables, managing accurate account documentation, answering menu inquiries, and completing assigned cleaning and side work duties. Job Requirements

  • Must be 16 years or older
  • No experience required as training is provided
  • Ability to work typical schedule including 3 days from 10am-8pm and 2 days from 3pm-8:30pm
  • Must be available for 40 hours per week
  • No late nights or evening shifts on Sundays or holidays
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening excluding marijuana

Job Duties

  • Assists in maintaining a high level of customer service for our residents and guests
  • Takes orders and provides service both graciously and courteously
  • Clears all tableware from tables after service
  • Maintains all documents necessary to accurately account for resident and guest charges
  • Answers pertinent questions about menu items
  • Completes all assigned cleaning tasks and side work
