MBK Senior Living is dedicated to putting people first—both residents and team members. It operates under the philosophy of Yoi Shigoto, a Japanese concept meaning "good, quality work," which underscores the company’s commitment to building trust, setting high standards, and fostering potential in employees and residents alike.
The Server role at MBK Senior Living is essential to creating a positive dining experience for residents. This full-time position, typically scheduled from Friday to Tuesday between 6:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., involves delivering exceptional customer service, attending to residents' dining needs with courtesy and professionalism, and maintaining cleanliness and order in the dining areas. Servers play a key role in not only serving meals but also building meaningful relationships with residents by ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable. They assist with menu selections, accommodate dietary needs, and support the overall sanitation and safety standards in dining. Additionally, they contribute to the community atmosphere by maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor and aiding in marketing efforts through positive interactions.
MBK Senior Living embraces a supportive community culture that encourages personal and professional growth through programs such as mentorship, buddy systems, and executive director training. This role offers competitive salaries, professional development opportunities, educational loan assistance and scholarships, financial and legal service access, and various wellness and discount benefits. Full-time servers enjoy enriched benefits that include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k matching up to 4 percent, childcare and eldercare assistance, and flexible spending accounts.
The server position requires individuals to be mobile and physically capable of performing job duties, including standing for long periods, bending, lifting over 40 pounds, pushing and pulling carts, and engaging in repetitive motions. Candidates must have basic communication skills in English, adhere to safety and sanitary regulations, and maintain the company’s dress and grooming standards. Compliance with regulatory and legal requirements, including background clearances and health screenings such as TB tests, is mandatory.
MBK Senior Living fosters a fun-filled, energetic environment centered on hospitality and high-quality service. Team members not only build lasting relationships with residents and their families but also help execute exceptional dining, fitness, wellness, and care programs that enrich residents' lives. The server role is more than a job; it is a pathway to a rewarding career in senior living where every day offers the chance to make a genuine difference. The company’s commitment to equal employment opportunity ensures a diverse workplace free from discrimination, providing access and accommodations as needed for qualifying individuals. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about serving others, eager to grow professionally, and desire to contribute to a community-centered senior living experience that truly values quality and respect.
