Job Description

Trilogy at Verde River Ranch is a premier residential community located in Rio Verde, Arizona, just 20 minutes north of Scottsdale. This community is well-known for its luxurious amenities and stunning natural surroundings, offering residents and visitors a high-quality lifestyle nestled against the scenic backdrop of the Mazatzal Mountains and the iconic Four Peaks. The centerpiece of the community is the Verde River Golf and Social Club, featuring a newly redesigned golf course, tennis and pickleball courts, a poolside bar & grill, a luxurious resort pool, and The Outfitter, which serves as the gateway to outdoor adventures. Alongside these outstanding recreational opportunities, the club also includes a signature restaurant and a full-service spa, catering to a wide range of leisure and lifestyle needs.

The role of Server at Trilogy at Verde River Ranch involves delivering prompt and courteous food and beverage services to guests within the restaurant, bar, and patio areas. This is a part-time position paying $12.15 per hour plus gratuities, providing a fantastic opportunity for individuals interested in hospitality to join a vibrant and guest-focused team. The server is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, greeting guests warmly, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience by accurately taking and relaying food and beverage orders. Besides the essential serving duties, servers play a key role in fostering guest satisfaction by being knowledgeable about the resort's facilities and services, enabling them to answer questions and promote the overall resort experience enthusiastically.

Beyond taking orders and serving food and drinks following proper etiquette, servers at Trilogy at Verde River Ranch must continuously engage with guests throughout their visit to anticipate and fulfill their needs. The position reports to the Food & Beverage Manager, emphasizing teamwork and collaboration under their guidance and that of the Lead Server. It also includes responsibilities like enforcing age verification for alcohol service, handling cash and card transactions correctly, and promptly reporting any safety concerns or guest issues to management. This job demands a high level of customer orientation and responsiveness, the ability to work under pressure while balancing priorities, and effective communication skills for interaction with guests and team members alike.

Trilogy at Verde River Ranch values honesty, integrity, respect, teamwork, and a competitive spirit, which are reflected in their BlueStar core values. Their server role is not simply about food service but about embodying these principles to provide an outstanding hospitality experience. The job requires candidates to be flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends, and to be comfortable working in both indoor restaurant settings and outdoor event environments with exposure to weather conditions and occasional wildlife. Physically, the role involves standing and walking most of the shift and carrying trays up to 20 pounds, requiring stamina and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

The company supports its employees with benefits such as eligibility for medical, dental, and life insurance plans for full-time hourly team members working 30 hours or more weekly after 60 days of employment. Full-time staff can also accrue paid time off and receive seven paid holidays annually. Part-time workers are eligible for paid sick leave according to state laws, and all team members aged 21 and older can participate in a 401(k) plan after 30 days of service. Trilogy at Verde River Ranch promotes a positive, team-oriented culture within a beautiful and active community setting, making it an excellent workplace for those passionate about guest service and hospitality.
