Job Requirements

  • Must be of legal age according to state regulations to serve alcohol
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a restaurant environment preferred
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • capable of lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • availability to work long hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching
  • good personal hygiene and appearance
  • successful completion of all required server tests
  • ability to work in a noisy and busy restaurant setting.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior restaurant experience preferred
  • knowledge of food and beverage preparation
  • ability to sell alcohol and food items responsibly
  • proficient in cash handling and point of sale systems

Job Duties

  • Sell and serve food and drinks in a professional manner
  • pass all server tests as required
  • have complete knowledge of food and beverage preparation
  • serve multiple tables simultaneously as determined by management
  • sell alcohol and food items responsibly
  • use a computer system to ring orders on checks
  • interact with guests in a friendly and efficient manner
  • accept different types of payments and make change
  • maintain assigned side-work areas to ensure cleanliness and smooth operation
  • clear and reset tables promptly
  • verify guests' identification for legal alcohol consumption
  • monitor guests' behavior when consuming alcoholic beverages and take appropriate actions if necessary
  • treat all guests to ensure complete satisfaction and exceed expectations
  • report to work in a neat and clean uniform with well-groomed hair and good personal hygiene
  • perform opening and closing duties efficiently and on time
  • handle money accurately
  • carry and deliver food and drinks to customers.
