- Strong knowledge of food and beverage menus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to upsell and handle customer requests
- Basic math skills for handling cash and orders
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Job Duties
- Work closely with all team members contributing to a positive work environment
- Demonstrate knowledge of the menu, restaurant, hotel and surrounding area
- Understand and utilize the steps of service
- Accurately take orders, confirm special requests and upsell
- Inspect all food and beverage for accuracy and presentation before delivering
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction responding proactively to any customer needs
- Maintain a clean, safe and healthy work environment
- Operate with a clean as you go and pre-buss work ethic
- Complete all opening and closing side work
- Greet and seat customers when needed
