Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior restaurant server experience required
  • Prior working experience and/or interacting with an elderly population preferred
  • At least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Professional appearance and excellent interpersonal skills for daily interaction with residents, families, coworkers, and public
  • Ability to read, write, speak and communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and written in English
  • Ability to comprehend numbers, calculate and perform data input of service charges and head counts
  • Ability to multi-task and deal with multiple customers at the same time
  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend, reach, squat, climb, reach above head, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Offer full tableside service to residents including accurate order taking, meal delivery, and check handling
  • Prepare and serve beverages as requested by residents and guests, including table service of all alcoholic beverages
  • Responsible for all table maintenance throughout the meal
  • Clear and reset all tables according to set standards and procedures after completion of each meal
  • Perform all duties assigned in an effective, timely and professional manner
  • Adhere to attendance and scheduling requirements
  • Maintain professional appearance and conduct exhibiting a respectful and courteous demeanor at all times
