With a strong commitment to providing an exceptional living experience, this community offers comprehensive services and amenities designed to support the needs and well-being of its residents, promoting a vibrant, active, and engaging lifestyle. The retirement community is centered around high standards of care and hospitality, making it a sought-after destination for older adults seeking a fulfilling and secure environment.
The role of Part-Time Fine Dining Server at Bishop Gadsden is a critical position within the community’s upscale dining experience at Winningham Court. This position is designed for experienced servers who take pride in delivering superior tableside service to residents and their guests. As a Fine Dining Server, you will be responsible for providing attentive, accurate, and courteous service within a fine dining setting that emphasizes quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction. The position requires evening availability and offers part-time hours, making it ideal for candidates seeking flexibility and a rewarding work environment.
The Fine Dining Server will act as an ambassador of the community’s hospitality values, maintaining professionalism, a respectful demeanor, and a polished appearance at all times. Responsibilities include taking precise food and beverage orders, serving meals and alcoholic beverages with grace and care, managing all aspects of table maintenance throughout the meal, and ensuring the dining area is promptly cleared and reset according to prescribed standards. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential as the server interacts daily with elderly residents, their families, coworkers, and visitors, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable dining experience.
Candidates who excel in this role will be comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment and adept at handling various customer needs simultaneously. Physical endurance is necessary as the role involves standing, bending, lifting, and carrying items throughout shifts. Bishop Gadsden provides a supportive atmosphere with competitive compensation and valuable benefits, including health-related coverage, employee assistance programs, and appreciation events. This role not only offers a chance to work in an enriching community but also to make a positive impact on the lives of residents by contributing to their dining pleasure and social engagement.
