Job Description

Dividend Restaurant Group (DRG) is a renowned hospitality company rooted in a strong belief that the foundation of any successful company is shaped by the character of its team, the versatility of its systems, and the discipline of its actions. Established with a clear vision and housed in Denver, DRG brings together some of the country’s most iconic and well-known restaurant brands. As a guest-first and team-focused organization, DRG has built a successful track record of revitalizing treasured dining brands while driving value for all its stakeholders, including guests, team members, vendors, and financial partners. The company’s core mantra is to pay 'dividends' to every stakeholder in meaningful ways, ensuring a positive return on their investment in the organization through excellence in service, culture, and innovation.

Serving as a pivotal member of the Eddie Merlot’s team, the Server role is critical in delivering the superior guest experience that the brand prides itself on. Eddie Merlot's is one of the premium fine-dining establishments under DRG, known for its exceptional cuisine and outstanding service. Servers at Eddie Merlot's are expected to have extensive knowledge of the menu and beverage options, enabling them to confidently answer guest inquiries, take orders accurately, and effectively communicate those orders to the kitchen and bar teams. This detailed-oriented role involves presentation of food and beverages following the established procedures, timely delivery of guest checks, and accurately processing payments. Beyond transactional duties, Servers work harmoniously with other front-of-house team members such as Bartenders, Bussers, and Runners to ensure a seamless, warm, and inviting guest experience.

The Server holds responsibilities that extend beyond customer order taking. They are accountable for maintaining a clean and organized station, preparing the dining area in compliance with company guidelines, and adapting service to accommodate special events, large parties, and busy reservation flows. This role demands excellent communication skills to interact with managers, hosts, and guests seamlessly. The Server is also expected to perform side duties, contribute to team support, follow health, safety, and sanitation laws, and actively promote the Eddie Merlot’s Prime Society service among guests.

Given the dynamic environment of a fine dining restaurant, the Server role requires a highly motivated, professional individual capable of working calmly under pressure while delivering top-tier hospitality. Flexibility in scheduling, including availability during evenings, weekends, holidays, and potentially lunch-time shifts during special events or peak seasons, is necessary. This non-exempt, part-time position offers an exciting opportunity to join a respected brand within a larger restaurant group dedicated to professional growth and guest satisfaction. Serving at Eddie Merlot's through DRG means becoming part of a collaborative team that values character, quality service, and continuous improvement in the hospitality industry.
