At Sunrise Senior Living, the Server (Dining Room Care Manager) plays a vital role in upholding the company’s mission and service principles. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living
  • Food Safety Certified within 90 days of taking the position
  • Maintain certifications such as CPR and First Aid, ServeSafe as required by Sunrise and state/provincial regulations
  • Compliance with all required training
  • Ability to work in accordance with safety protocols including use of PPE and adherence to food safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

Job Duties

  • Provide support in the day-to-day operations of the dining room while maintaining a high quality, positive, and safe physical and social environment for residents and fellow team members
  • Provide dining service training to new care managers
  • Maintain knowledge of Daily and Always Available Menu items and assist residents with menu selections
  • Take meal and beverage orders and serve requested items according to established guidelines
  • Perform dining room checklist inspections and maintain cleanliness and readiness standards
  • Assist in tabletop inventories maintenance
  • Follow all local, state/provincial, and federal policies regarding food handling
