Job Description

Arrow Senior Living is a well-established senior living management company that oversees a diverse collection of communities offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care services across 33 properties in six states, including Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Illinois, Ohio, and Arkansas. With a workforce of nearly 1,900 employees, Arrow Senior Living is dedicated to providing compassionate and quality care to its residents while fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for its team members. The company prides itself on embracing core values that enhance residents' quality of life and ensure a home-like atmosphere that feels just as warm for staff as it does for residents. Arrow Senior Living promotes growth from within, recognizing and rewarding employee commitment and excellence through appreciation programs, incentives, and comprehensive benefits.

The Rushwood Senior Living, located in Wichita, Kansas, is one of the esteemed communities under the Arrow Senior Living umbrella. The community seeks to hire a part-time server who will contribute to the vibrant and caring dining experience offered to its residents. The position provides an attractive starting wage of $16.00 to $19.50 per hour and involves working Friday and Saturday shifts from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. As a server, the individual will play a vital role in engaging with residents, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable, comfortable, and meets their unique needs.

This role is not just about serving food but creating meaningful connections with residents by greeting them warmly, encouraging social interaction, and fostering a community atmosphere in the dining room. The server will prepare dining areas, assist with meal service setup, maintain cleanliness, and collaborate closely with wellness and supervisory staff to monitor residents' dietary habits and health concerns. Physical activity is a key part of the job, requiring standing, walking, bending, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, emphasizing the need for a positive, energetic attitude.

Arrow Senior Living values the well-being of its employees, offering comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time staff, disability and life insurance, company-matched 401(k), paid time off, tuition reimbursement, employee assistance programs, and more. The community fosters a dynamic and rewarding workplace culture where employees are appreciated and recognized regularly. Individuals who are enthusiastic, compassionate, and eager to grow within a reputable senior living organization will find this opportunity at The Rushwood Senior Living both fulfilling and enjoyable. Prospective applicants can learn more about Arrow Senior Living’s welcoming and inclusive environment by visiting their social media pages or official website, or by contacting their dedicated recruiter directly.
