The Castlewood Senior Living, located in Nixa, Missouri, is one of the communities managed by Arrow Senior Living. They are currently hiring for a part-time Server position with a competitive starting wage range of $15 to $22 per hour. As a Server at The Castlewood Senior Living, the candidate will play an integral role in the dining experience of the residents by providing attentive and friendly service. Responsibilities include greeting and connecting with residents to make them feel at home, preparing dining areas and meals for service, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining environment. The role also entails monitoring residents’ dietary habits and communicating any unusual changes with supervisors and wellness teams to support residents’ health. Physical activity is a requirement as the position involves standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and assisting residents who may need help with mobility or after falls.

Job Requirements

  • at least sixteen years of age
  • ability to read, write, and communicate in English at an 8th grade level
  • positive and energetic attitude
  • physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
  • ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after falls
  • must be criminally cleared

Job Qualifications

  • minimum 8th grade proficiency in reading, writing, and communication in English
  • positive and energetic attitude
  • ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop for extended periods
  • ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with elderly residents
  • ability to assist residents with mobility and post-fall support

Job Duties
