Ridgemere Senior Living is committed to creating a warm, welcoming environment not only for its residents but also for its team members, promoting growth from within and emphasizing employee appreciation, incentives, and comprehensive benefits.
The available position at Ridgemere Senior Living is for a part-time Server. This role is crucial in supporting the dining experience of the residents by ensuring a hospitable, clean, and engaging environment during meal services. Servers at Ridgemere play multiple roles, including greeting residents warmly, preparing and setting up dining areas, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and observing residents' dietary habits to report any concerns. This role requires a dynamic individual who can stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout their shift, frequently lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds. Servers are expected to actively engage with residents, bringing energy and positivity to their interactions while supporting their physical needs, including assistance with standing, sitting, or walking when required. The part-time server position offers a competitive starting wage ranging from $15.00 to $19.50 per hour, with shifts scheduled primarily on Friday and Saturday from 6:30 am to 2 pm.
Candidates interested in this position should be at least 16 years old and possess English communication skills at or above an eighth-grade proficiency level to effectively interact with residents. Aside from the requisite physical capabilities, a successful Server at Ridgemere Senior Living must demonstrate a positive attitude, empathy towards seniors, and adherence to the company's policies, including criminal background clearance. The organization values team members who embrace the community’s core values and contribute meaningfully to maintaining a high standard of care and fellowship.
This role not only offers a competitive wage but also numerous employment benefits tailored to both full-time and part-time employees. These benefits include a 401(k) plan with a 100% company match up to the first 3%, medical, dental, and vision insurance (for full-time employees after 60 days), disability insurance, paid time off accrual, tuition reimbursement after 90 days, shift differentials for nights and weekends, and comprehensive employee assistance and recognition programs. Additional perks such as complimentary meals during shifts, a direct deposit option, daily pay availability, and a referral program further enhance the employee experience at Ridgemere. The company prides itself on fostering an enjoyable, supportive workplace where employees find lasting friendships and career growth opportunities.
