The Castlewood Senior Living, located in Nixa, Missouri, is part of this esteemed network. They are currently seeking a part-time Server to join their vibrant dining team. This position offers a competitive starting wage of $15.00 to $16.00 per hour and involves working Thursday through Saturday from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. As a Server at Castlewood, your role extends beyond traditional dining service. You will be recognized as a "Host with the Most," a "Peppy Prepper," a "Titan of Tidiness," and an "Appetite Anthropologist." These creative and engaging titles reflect the multifaceted duties of the role, such as greeting residents warmly and making them feel welcome, preparing dining areas and meals efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and order, and monitoring residents' dietary habits and well-being to communicate any concerns to supervisors and wellness staff.

This position requires someone who is energetic, compassionate, and capable of performing physically demanding tasks including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds. The Server will also assist residents with mobility and provide help if a resident experiences a fall. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least sixteen years of age
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Positive and energetic attitude
  • Physically able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking and after a fall
  • Must be criminally cleared

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least sixteen years of age
  • Able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency
  • Positive and energetic attitude
  • Ability to assist residents with mobility
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Criminal background clearance

Job Duties

  • Greet residents and make them feel welcome in the dining area
  • Mingle and entertain residents to foster a warm community atmosphere
  • Prepare tables, salads, and silverware for meal service
  • Buss tables, sweep floors, and maintain cleanliness in dining areas
  • Monitor residents' dietary habits and communicate any concerns to supervisors or wellness staff
  • Assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and provide aid after a fall
  • Maintain an energetic and positive demeanor while performing all duties
