The Server position at Arrow Senior Living's Summit community in Little Rock, AR offers a dynamic and rewarding part-time role. Starting at $13 per hour, this role is perfect for individuals who enjoy interacting with others, delivering excellent service, and contributing to a vibrant dining experience for senior residents. The shift schedule runs on Monday and Sunday from 11:30 am to 7:30 pm. Server team members play multiple important roles to ensure smooth meal services and a welcoming dining environment. This includes greeting and engaging residents, preparing tables and meals, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and observing and communicating residents’ dietary needs or changes.
As a Server, you will be recognized as the "Host with the Most," warmly welcoming and engaging with residents to create a friendly and inclusive atmosphere. You will also be a "Peppy Prepper," ensuring all dining setups and necessary preparations are completed for seamless service. The role requires you to act as a "Titan of Tidiness," maintaining cleanliness by bussing tables and sweeping floors to uphold the community’s proud image. Additionally, you will serve as an "Appetite Anthropologist," monitoring and reporting changes in residents’ eating habits or absences to supervisors and wellness staff, ensuring attentive care and personalized service.
This position demands physical activity such as standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and occasionally lifting items up to 50 pounds. Job Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen years of age
- able to read, write, and communicate in English at a minimum eighth-grade proficiency
- must have a positive and energetic attitude
- able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop for extended periods
- able to frequently lift and move items up to fifty pounds
- able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking as well as after a fall
- criminal background clearance required
