The role of Server at Arrow Senior Living is a vital part of the community’s dining experience. This full-time position, with a pay range between $13 and $19 per hour, offers an opportunity to contribute to the well-being and happiness of senior residents by delivering excellent food service in a respectful and engaging manner. The server works Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., serving at the Summit community located at 16100 Chenal Valley Drive in Little Rock. This schedule ensures a consistent and balanced workweek while allowing time for personal pursuits.
As a server, the individual embodies multiple roles such as the "Host with the Most," who warmly greets and entertains residents to create a welcoming dining atmosphere. They are also the "Peppy Prepper," responsible for preparing tables, salads, and rolling silverware to ensure smooth meal service. The "Titan of Tidiness" aspect involves maintaining a clean and orderly dining environment by bussing tables and sweeping floors. Additionally, the server assumes the role of "Appetite Anthropologist," communicating with supervisors and wellness staff when unusual dietary habits or appetite changes occur among residents.
Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and the ability to frequently lift or move items up to 50 pounds, highlighting the need for an active and energetic individual. The server also assists residents with mobility within the dining setting. This role is essential in fostering social connection and enhancing the nutritional health of residents.

Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at an 8th grade level
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
- Ability to frequently lift or move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after falls
- Criminally cleared
Job Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at an 8th grade level

Job Duties
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome in the dining area
- Prepare tables, salads, and roll silverware in advance of meal service
- Bus tables and maintain cleanliness of dining room including sweeping floors
- Communicate with supervisors and wellness staff about residents' dietary habits and appetite changes
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after falls
