This community offers exceptional quality, comfort, and care paired with five-star services and amenities. Residents at Ivy Park at San Lauren enjoy a rewarding lifestyle that encourages independence while providing individualized comprehensive support. The community fosters meaningful relationships among residents, their families, and team members through values such as authenticity, teamwork, compassion, commitment, and resilience. As part of a larger network, Oakmont Management Group operates senior living communities across California, Colorado, Hawaii, and Nevada, which provides significant opportunities for career growth, relocation, and travel for employees.
The role of Server / Dishwasher at Ivy Park at San Lauren is vital in maintaining the high standards of service and comfort offered to residents and guests. This position involves serving food and beverages in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner, ensuring that the dining experience aligns with the community’s mission and values. The role is a blend of front-of-house hospitality duties and back-of-house support through dishwashing tasks. This ensures the dining area and kitchen operate smoothly while prioritizing the safety and satisfaction of residents, visitors, and staff. The pay range for this position is $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, reflecting the value placed on excellent service and dedication within the community.
The Server component of the position requires interacting with residents, family members, and visitors to meet their dining needs efficiently and courteously. Responsibilities include taking accurate food and beverage orders, entering orders into the POS system, setting up and breaking down dining tables, and adhering to proper serving techniques and etiquette. Maintaining a safe environment compliant with all safety standards is a critical part of the role. The Dishwasher responsibilities complement this by ensuring cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, contributing to overall food safety and operational efficiency. Candidates for this position will work closely with fellow team members across departments, emphasizing teamwork and cooperation.
This role is suitable for individuals who have a strong desire to work with the elderly, offering compassionate care and exceptional customer service. While prior experience is preferred, Ivy Park at San Lauren is committed to training the right candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. The position requires candidates to be at least 16 years old with a valid work permit and possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent. Effective verbal and written communication skills are also necessary to engage positively with residents, healthcare professionals, and colleagues. Background checks and health screenings, including physical and TB tests, are mandatory for ensuring the safety of the community. Oakmont Management Group may also require vaccination and adherence to COVID-19 protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment, to prevent the spread of communicable diseases.
Oakmont Management Group is recognized as a leader in senior living, known for creating environments where joy and laughter accompany excellence in care. The company fosters a family-like atmosphere focused on building caring and meaningful relationships. Employees joining Oakmont can expect not only a warm community environment but also a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional development within a dynamic and supportive organization. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to contribute to a community-oriented, service-driven workplace where they can make a positive impact on the lives of seniors.
