The community offers a wide range of services tailored to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of seniors. The staff at Waterford Grand are dedicated to fostering a culture of respect, dignity, and compassion, ensuring that every resident feels valued and cared for in a safe, comfortable setting. Cascade Living Group, known for its commitment to quality of life and employee satisfaction, extends a warm, inclusive atmosphere focused on growth and support for both residents and employees alike.
As a Server (Dining Services Associate) at Waterford Grand, you play a vital role in delivering a pleasant dining experience that is more than just serving food — it's about building meaningful connections with our residents. This position involves ensuring that each meal is served safely, comfortably, and in a way that meets the dietary needs of our seniors. Unlike serving roles in traditional hospitality settings such as restaurants, hotels, or resorts, this role offers the opportunity to form life-long relationships while supporting the nutritional wellbeing of residents daily. The Server is responsible for preparing the dining room, transporting meals, and attending to resident requests with compassion and professionalism. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will interact closely with residents, their families, and the care team to provide exceptional service that reflects the mission and values of Cascade Living.
This full-time position requires flexibility with working hours including evenings, weekends, and shifts from 6am to 2:30pm or 11am to 7pm. The wage offered ranges from $15.55 to $17.55 per hour, depending on experience. Our servers are expected to hold current food handler or serve safe certification and first aid training to ensure the health and safety of our community. Other essential qualities include a compassionate attitude, effective listening and problem-solving skills, reliability, and the ability to work well within a team environment. Waterford Grand supports the professional growth of its employees by providing career pathways, education assistance, and other benefits that make this role rewarding on many levels.
Working at Waterford Grand means joining a team that values your contribution to the residents' quality of life and supports your development as a valuable member of our community. If you are passionate about serving others and want to make a real difference in the lives of seniors, this role offers a fulfilling career path within a supportive and caring environment.
