The Server position at Denny's is a critical role focused on enhancing the guest experience through attentive, friendly, and efficient service. This full-time or part-time role involves greeting guests promptly, presenting menus, taking accurate orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their visit. Servers interact directly with guests and kitchen staff, working closely with team members to coordinate timely and precise meal delivery. They are also responsible for maintaining cleanliness in dining and service areas and completing side work duties such as restocking supplies and cleaning. The role requires physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods, carry trays, and perform various lifting tasks, as well as the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.   • Previous serving or customer service experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Greet guests promptly and courteously
  • present menus and explain menu items
  • take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
  • deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
  • check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues promptly
  • maintain clean and organized tables and dining areas
  • complete assigned side work duties such as restocking supplies and cleaning
