The open position is at Kimpton Santo, part of White Lodging's collection of award-winning properties. The role is centered around providing outstanding service to guests while contributing to a positive, team-oriented atmosphere. Employees will be expected to engage guests personally by offering friendly conversation, insightful menu suggestions, and attentive service to ensure a memorable dining experience. Emphasis is placed on understanding the menu thoroughly, including preparation methods and ingredient details, to confidently answer guest inquiries and guarantee satisfaction with food and beverage quality and presentation. As integral members of the hospitality team, employees will participate actively in teamwork, uphold professional appearance standards, handle payments efficiently, and complete all necessary setup and closing responsibilities. The position requires stamina and energy to work at a fast pace while maintaining a can-do attitude, even during high-volume service periods and busy shifts.

Job Duties

  • Provide high quality service to all guests, creating personal connections through friendly conversation, intuitive suggestions, and engaging surroundings
  • Complete all necessary set up, side work, and closing duties
  • Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes
  • accurately answer any guest questions
  • Ensure guest satisfaction with food and drink quality and presentation
  • Promote teamwork and contribute to creating a friendly and safe work environment
  • Process all payment methods and complete end-of-shift paperwork
  • Maintain a neat and professional personal appearance as an ambassador of our establishment
  • Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality
  • Perform other duties as assigned
