Situated in a prime location just minutes from The Ridgedale Mall and St Louis Park, this community is ideally positioned near major highways 394 and 494 as well as accessible public transportation, making it convenient for residents and their families. Managed by Ebenezer, Amira Choice Minnetonka is a 100-unit community providing a range of living arrangements including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Care Suites. This senior living community prides itself on a caring and professional team of caregivers dedicated to a mission centered around healing, discovery, and education. Their goal is to support longer, healthier, and more meaningful lives for their residents.

The company culture at Amira Choice Minnetonka reflects a commitment to exceptional service, respect, and compassion for seniors. The team continuously strives to maintain a supportive and engaging environment where residents feel valued and cared for. The facility’s state-of-the-art accommodations and thoughtfully designed spaces cater to the specific needs of older adults, providing comfort and security along with an active and vibrant community atmosphere.

The role available is for a Server/Culinary Assistant who will play a vital part in enhancing the dining experience for the senior residents. This position is responsible for food and meal service within the dining room, as well as maintaining kitchenettes in the Senior Assisted Living Community. The schedule requires working 64 hours every two weeks, with day and evening shifts, including every other weekend and holiday rotation. This part-time position offers an hourly wage ranging from $18.12 to $26.17, a competitive rate reflective of relevant experience, education, and skills.

As a Server/Culinary Assistant at Amira Choice Minnetonka, you will serve meals attentively, ensuring that the dining area remains clean, inviting, and welcoming to residents at all times. Following meal serving schedules and guidelines, you will present meal choices while catering to residents’ unique dietary needs, using proper safety and sanitation techniques at all times. Your responsibilities will include setting up the dining room appropriately before meals, learning and using the EMenu system proficiently for restaurant-style service, and washing and sanitizing all dishes and utensils according to the standards before the end of your shift.

This role also involves fostering positive relationships with residents by offering warm greetings, initiating conversations, and accommodating special requests such as food substitutions or changes in seating. Addressing and appropriately resolving any complaints or concerns is critical to maintaining resident satisfaction. You will work closely with the Executive Director and Culinary Director to escalate any issues when necessary.

Joining Amira Choice Minnetonka means becoming part of the Ebenezer family, which places a strong emphasis on care, respect, and professional growth. The company supports its employees with generous benefits that include medical, dental, vision coverage, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, retirement plans, and more.
