The role of Server/Culinary Assistant at Amira Choice of Roseville is a vital position within the nutrition services team. This role encompasses both dining room meal service and the management of kitchenettes supplies to cater to the Assisted Living community. Job Duties

  • serves meals and ensures that the dining area is clean and inviting
  • follows meal serving schedule and procedures
  • offers resident meal choices and meets resident’s specific dietary needs
  • uses proper safety and sanitation techniques
  • follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures
  • follows proper procedures for dining room set-up
  • follows proper work flow to stay on task
  • learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service
  • ensures all dishes including flatware, drinkware, etc. are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift
  • promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction
  • welcomes residents and initiates conversation
  • accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc.
  • listens to any complaints and responds appropriately, refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate
