Job Duties

  • Promptly greet guests at tables and offer food menu
  • Inform guests of drink specials
  • Obtain food and drink orders and communicate to kitchen or bartender
  • Deliver food and drinks to guests
  • Periodically check back with guests to ensure needs are met and offer dessert
  • Present the check and handle payment transactions
  • Remove dirty dishes and linens as needed
  • Reset tables with clean china, linens, silverware, glassware, utensils, condiments, and paper
  • Maintain familiarity with menu prices and daily specials
  • Monitor and restock snacks at tables as needed
  • Empty, clean, and refill items according to side work duties
  • Maintain a clean uniform and personal appearance
  • Adhere to certification requirements for serving alcohol responsibly
  • Complete required OSHA safety training
  • Understand fire alarm system and evacuation procedures
  • Perform all duties in a safe manner
  • Be flexible and adaptable to job changes
  • Treat everyone with dignity and respect
