Job Description

IHOP is a well-established and beloved full-service restaurant chain known for its warm hospitality and a wide variety of delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner offerings. With a rich history rooted in creating memorable dining experiences, IHOP has grown into a popular destination for families, friends, and guests looking to enjoy comforting food in a friendly and energetic environment. IHOP's commitment to excellent customer service and quality food has made it a staple in many communities across the United States. The restaurant prides itself on fostering a positive work culture where employees are valued and supported as they grow their careers in the hospitality industry.

As a Server at IHOP, you play a vital role as the face of the brand and directly impact each guest's experience. This role requires you to embody the spirit of IHOP by delivering exceptional service that is warm, attentive, and efficient. You will be responsible for welcoming guests, taking orders accurately, responding to their needs, and ensuring their dining experience is smooth and enjoyable. Your ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment is essential to maintaining high standards and keeping guests coming back. This position offers a wonderful opportunity to develop interpersonal skills, multitask in a dynamic setting, and contribute meaningfully to the restaurant's operations.

This role is typically part-time or full-time with a competitive hourly wage ranging between $12.14 and $17.25 based on the state and experience. Additionally, servers benefit from daily tips, making the overall compensation attractive. IHOP guarantees that employees will earn at least the minimum state wage, ensuring fairness and compliance with wage laws. The work environment is lively and fulfilling, with shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays due to continuous guest interactions.

Joining the IHOP team means becoming part of a family that values personal accountability, adaptability, and a strong work ethic. Employees are supported through comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage (based on eligibility), a 401k plan after meeting eligibility requirements, paid time off, and various voluntary benefits. The restaurant emphasizes creating a supportive and rewarding workplace where team members can thrive professionally and personally. Working as a server at IHOP is not just about serving food, but about creating lasting memories for guests and building meaningful relationships within the team. If you are passionate about hospitality, eager to learn, and strive to provide excellent service, IHOP is the perfect place to build your career and spread happiness, one pancake at a time.
