Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC is a nationally recognized leader in the family dining and entertainment industry, headquartered in Irving, Texas. The company proudly operates well-known brands including Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. These brands have established themselves as staples in communities, offering a unique blend of quality food, fun, and engaging entertainment for families. Chuck E. Cheese alone hosts over half a million birthday celebrations every year, focusing on creating joyful, lasting memories for kids and families alike. The organization places a strong emphasis on safety and community support with initiatives such as Kid Check®, and has donated more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits. In addition to their commitment to safety and community, Chuck E. Cheese has been recognized with prestigious honors such as the "Best in STEM" award and inclusion in America’s Greatest Workplaces list, underscoring its dedication to innovation and employee well-being.
Peter Piper Pizza complements this experience by providing a neighborhood pizzeria atmosphere where families can enjoy good food alongside engaging entertainment. The brand’s tagline, "The Fun is Baked In," perfectly captures its mission to bring families and communities together through amusement and connection. Both Chuck E. Cheese and Peter Piper Pizza champion play-based activities to promote physical wellness and motor skill development in children. Collectively, CEC Entertainment and its franchisees operate nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, making them a leading presence in family entertainment worldwide.
CEC Entertainment fosters an inclusive culture that values diversity and ensures every family feels welcome. The company emphasizes career development, encouraging many employees to grow within the organization. More than 60% of its managers have been promoted from within, showing a clear pathway for career advancement. This philosophy extends directly into their hiring practices where they seek energetic, customer-focused individuals.
Now, CEC Entertainment is actively seeking Servers to join its vibrant team. This role is vital to maintaining the high standard of guest experience that defines Chuck E. Cheese. Servers are responsible for providing excellent service by delivering food promptly to guests, ensuring their experience is both enjoyable and memorable. It is an excellent position for individuals seeking their first job or those looking to build a career in hospitality. The company’s "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program exemplifies its commitment to employee satisfaction by offering timely payment options, reducing waiting time between paychecks.
Serving at CEC means being part of an energetic and fun environment where teamwork and positive attitude are key. The position requires the ability to manage the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing or moving for extended periods during shifts. Employees must have excellent customer service skills and an enthusiastic personality to interact effectively with children, families, and coworkers in a lively setting with flashing lights and ambient noise.
Pay rates for this role range from $8.00 to $12.50 per hour, with additional commission opportunities based on membership and Fun Pass sales, which are paid bi-weekly. This blend of hourly wages and incentive pay rewards performance and sales efforts. CEC Entertainment also provides various benefits, such as flexible scheduling, a 50% meal discount during shifts, scholarship opportunities, employee referral bonuses, and access to a support fund for catastrophic events, all designed to support employees both on and off the job.
This position offers a dynamic, rewarding work environment where employees can grow professionally while making meaningful connections with families. By joining the team at CEC Entertainment, servers become part of a company that values its workforce, champions diversity and inclusion, and is dedicated to keeping the magic of childhood alive through fun, food, and play.
