As a workplace, CEC Entertainment offers outstanding career opportunities, especially for first-time job seekers, in family-friendly environments. They implement robust training and foster internal growth, with more than 60% of their managers promoted from within. The company cultivates a culture centered around great food, family, and fun, attracting dynamic individuals who enjoy working in vibrant, fast-paced settings. The featured role is for servers who play a critical part in delivering excellent customer service by providing guests with their food orders and creating memorable dining experiences. Servers at Chuck E. Cheese contribute directly to the company’s mission of being "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid®" and help maintain a lively, positive environment.

This position is available in both exempt and non-exempt categories, offering a commission system that rewards the sale of Memberships and Fun Passes, paid out bi-weekly (or in accordance with state laws). Pay is competitive and accompanied by a number of attractive benefits such as a 50% discount on meals during shifts, flexible scheduling options, scholarships, participation in perks and discounts programs, an employee referral program, and the CEC Cares Fund which assists employees during personal catastrophes. The company also emphasizes workplace safety through rigorous health and sanitation standards.

Physical requirements include the ability to lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as the physical stamina to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk, and squat throughout the shift. The work environment can involve loud noises, flashing lights, and moving mechanical parts, necessitating individuals who can handle job stress and maintain effective interactions with both guests and coworkers.

CEC Entertainment prides itself on fostering diversity, inclusion, and a culture that supports the diverse backgrounds and perspectives of its workforce. As an Equal Opportunity Employer, the company does not discriminate based on race, ancestry, color, genetics, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, age, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other protected status under federal, state, or local law.
