Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment has established itself as a prominent player in the family entertainment industry. CEC is committed to creating joyful, lasting memories through a unique blend of fun, food, and play. The Chuck E. Cheese brand, known as the place "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid®," hosts over half a million birthday parties annually and emphasizes safety and community support through initiatives like Kid Check® and donations exceeding $24 million to schools and nonprofits. Peter Piper Pizza offers a neighborhood pizzeria experience focused on quality food and engaging entertainment, aiming to bring families and communities together by ensuring that "The Fun is Baked In." Both brands promote physical wellness and skill development in children through various attractions, fostering an environment where families can enjoy time together. CEC Entertainment is proud to foster a culture of diversity and inclusion, celebrating the power of fun and play to unite families everywhere. To maintain its standard of excellence and welcoming atmosphere, CEC Entertainment is currently hiring Servers to join its team.
The Server role at Chuck E. Cheese is perfect for first-time job seekers or individuals looking to build an exciting career in the hospitality and entertainment industry. Servers play a vital role in delivering excellent guest experiences by providing great service as they deliver food to guests. This role offers opportunities for learning and growth through cross-training in a variety of positions, empowering Cast Members to excel and advance within the company. More than 60% of Chuck E. As a Server, you will be part of a dynamic team in a lively environment where maintaining customer satisfaction and upholding safety and sanitation standards are of the utmost importance. The company prides itself on maintaining rigorous health and sanitation practices to protect the health of both guests and employees. The physical demands of the role include standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, walking, and carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds during shifts. As a part of the team, you will interact with guests and co-workers in an environment characterized by flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and upbeat noise levels, all contributing to a fun and energetic atmosphere.
CEC Entertainment offers competitive compensation with commission opportunities: exempt employees can earn from $0.50 to $10.00 per membership sold and $0.15 to $3.00 per Fun Pass sold, while non-exempt employees have commission rates ranging from $2.00 to $8.00 per membership and $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass. Payments are made bi-weekly unless state law requires otherwise. The company also features a unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing employees to access their earned wages the next day. Additional benefits include a 50% meal discount during shifts, flexible scheduling to accommodate personal needs, scholarships for continuing education, employee perks and discounts programs, and the CEC Cares Fund to assist employees during emergencies. CEC Entertainment values its workforce and is an Equal Opportunity Employer, fostering an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences without discrimination on any federal, state, or local protected basis.
