Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, proudly operating the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment has built a powerful presence in bringing fun, food, and play to families and communities everywhere. The company is dedicated to being the best place for kids and families to eat and play, celebrating over half a million birthdays annually. Chuck E. Cheese is known as "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid®," emphasizing safe, joyful, and memorable experiences supported by programs like Kid Check® and community donations exceeding $24 million to schools and nonprofits. This attention to safety, innovation, and employee well-being earned Chuck E. Cheese the "Best in STEM" award and a spot among America's Greatest Workplaces in 2025.
CEC Entertainment is more than just a restaurant or arcade; it is a community hub where family values, fun, and exceptional service come together. Peter Piper Pizza complements this mission by providing a neighborhood pizzeria experience emphasizing quality food, entertainment, and lasting memories. "The Fun is Baked In," reflecting the brand's commitment to physical wellness, motor skill development in kids, and connection through entertaining attractions. Diversity and inclusion are foundational to CEC's culture, focused on respecting and celebrating multiple backgrounds and perspectives.
This position is for a Server at Chuck E. Cheese, a critical role in the dynamic team that creates an enjoyable dining and entertainment environment for guests. Servers at CEC Entertainment not only deliver food but also contribute to the overall family-friendly atmosphere by providing exceptional customer service and engaging with guests energetically and enthusiastically. This role suits first-time job seekers and offers ample opportunities for career growth, with over 60% of managers promoted from within.
Employees enjoy competitive hourly wages ranging from $16.94 to $17.94, supplemented by generous commission opportunities based on memberships and fun pass sales. The commission model varies between exempt and non-exempt employees, with payouts made bi-weekly. CEC Entertainment supports its team with a variety of benefits such as a 50% meal discount during shifts, flexible schedules, scholarships, perks and discounts programs, an employee referral program, and the CEC Cares Fund designed to assist workers during unforeseen hardships.
The work environment involves a variety of physical activities including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting during shifts. Employees must be equipped to handle work stress and interact effectively with guests and co-workers amidst conditions with flashing lights, loud noises, and moving mechanical parts. Reasonable accommodations are offered to ensure inclusivity for individuals with disabilities.
CEC Entertainment promotes a health-conscious and safety-focused workplace, maintaining rigorous sanitation standards to protect both guests and employees. The "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program exemplifies CEC’s commitment to employee financial well-being, providing early access to earned wages. Overall, working as a Server at Chuck E. Cheese offers a fulfilling experience in a vibrant, supportive environment that prioritizes family, fun, and career development.
