Chuck E. Cheese stands out as the perfect destination "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid®," providing a unique blend of play, food, and entertainment that delights children and parents alike. Peter Piper Pizza offers a neighborhood pizzeria experience enriched with quality food and family-friendly entertainment where the fun is baked right in. Operating nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment embraces diversity and inclusion, fostering a culture centered on employee well-being, innovation, and community connection.
CEC Entertainment offers extensive career opportunities, especially for individuals seeking their first job or looking to build an exciting and rewarding career. With a strong record of promoting from within—over 60% of managers began their careers as cast members—the company empowers employees through cross-training in various positions, enabling them to deliver outstanding service and advance professionally.
Currently, CEC Entertainment is hiring Servers who play a crucial role in providing exceptional service by delivering food to guests with enthusiasm and care. These positions offer flexible schedules and competitive pay, with a commission program varying by employment status: Exempt employees can earn commissions from $0.50 to $10.00 per Membership sold and $0.15 to $3.00 per Fun Pass sold, while Non-Exempt employees have commission potentials ranging from $2.00 to $8.00 per Membership and $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass. Payments are made bi-weekly unless state laws require otherwise.
The role of Server at Chuck E. Cheese is ideal for those who enjoy interacting with people in a lively, family-focused atmosphere. Servers are expected to maintain excellent customer service and uphold the company’s high standards of safety and sanitation. Physical activity is a part of the job, including lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds and performing various movements during the shift such as standing, bending, kneeling, and walking. The environment features elements like flashing lights and loud noises, making adaptability and interpersonal skills essential.
CEC Entertainment also values employee health and offers various benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan to eligible U.S. employees. Additional perks like scholarships, employee referral programs, discounts on meals during shifts, and the CEC Cares Fund which supports employees during emergencies add to the comprehensive benefits package. Also unique is the company's "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program that allows employees to access their earnings without waiting for the traditional pay period.
Dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion, CEC Entertainment ensures that hiring and employment practices do not discriminate on the basis of race, ancestry, color, genetics, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, age, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other protected class. It is a place where employees can feel welcomed and valued, contributing to a vibrant workplace culture that mirrors the communities served.
