Peter Piper Pizza complements this mission by providing a neighborhood pizzeria experience where the fun is baked in.
The Server role at CEC Entertainment offers an exciting opportunity for first-time job seekers or those looking to build a meaningful career in the hospitality and entertainment industry. Servers at Chuck E. Cheese play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest service by providing great food and an enjoyable dining experience for families. The position is designed to empower Cast Members through cross-training in various roles, enabling them to offer comprehensive service and develop professionally. More than 60% of management personnel were promoted from within, highlighting the company's dedication to career growth.
This role offers commission potential with bi-weekly payouts, incentivizing performance with earnings based on memberships and fun pass sales. For exempt employees, commission ranges from $0.50 to $10.00 per membership and $0.15 to $3.00 per fun pass, while non-exempt employees can earn commissions of $2.00 to $8.00 per membership and $0.60 to $2.40 per fun pass. In addition to competitive pay, team members benefit from a 50% discount on meals during shifts, flexible scheduling to accommodate personal commitments, scholarship opportunities, perks and discount programs, employee referral incentives, and access to the CEC Cares Fund to assist employees during catastrophes.
The role demands an energetic and enthusiastic personality with excellent customer service skills and the ability to work various shifts. Servers must be physically capable of standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds during their shifts. The work environment is dynamic and lively, including exposure to flashing and flickering lights, mechanical moving parts, and loud noises—typical of a vibrant family entertainment setting. CEC Entertainment emphasizes the importance of health and safety, adhering to rigorous sanitation standards and operational procedures designed to protect both guests and employees. Reasonable accommodations are provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
