This commitment to family-friendly entertainment is backed by rigorous health and sanitation standards alongside operational procedures designed to protect both guests and employees. CEC Entertainment and its franchisees operate nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, highlighting its extensive reach and influence in the entertainment dining industry.

Below this established and growing company structure, CEC Entertainment offers a unique opportunity for individuals seeking either a first-time job or a growth-oriented career within the hospitality and family entertainment sector. The role of Server at Chuck E. Cheese is particularly suited for energetic, customer-focused individuals who enjoy serving family groups in a dynamic, lively environment. Servers are responsible for providing excellent service by delivering food and ensuring that every guest experience is fun, safe, and memorable. The company emphasizes promoting internally, with more than 60% of managerial staff having been promoted from within, indicating strong career advancement opportunities for motivated team members.

The Server position is available on both exempt and non-exempt terms, with competitive commission structures that reward performance. For exempt employees, commission potential ranges from $0.50 to $10.00 for each Membership sold and $0.15 to $3.00 per Fun Pass sold. Non-exempt employees earn commissions ranging from $2.00 to $8.00 per Membership and $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass, with payments made bi-weekly unless state law requires otherwise. This commission model encourages proactive customer engagement and provides a direct incentive aligned with company growth objectives.

The role also features a "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, which allows employees immediate access to their earnings, reflecting the company's commitment to employee financial well-being. Beyond pay, the position offers a range of benefits including flexible schedules, a 50% discount on meals during shifts, scholarships, discount and perks programs, an employee referral program, and the CEC Cares Fund, which assists employees during extraordinary personal hardships. Essential job functions include the ability to lift or carry objects up to 50 pounds and the physical stamina to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk, and squat throughout a scheduled shift. The work environment is vibrant, featuring flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and periodic loud noises, which requires individuals to be comfortable working in active, sensory-rich settings.

CEC Entertainment is deeply committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work culture. The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and actively ensures its workforce reflects the varied backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives of the communities it serves. Applicants are not discriminated against based on protected classes such as race, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability status, and many other criteria. This inclusivity and respect form the backbone of the company culture, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all employees.

As a server at Chuck E. Cheese, employees will have the chance to build meaningful interpersonal skills, work in a vibrant family-oriented atmosphere, and join a company recognized for excellence in STEM and as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in 2025.
