Job Requirements
- must obtain and maintain valid licenses/certifications per federal, state and ERGC gaming regulations
- must successfully pass background check
- must successfully pass drug screening
- must be at least twenty-one years of age
- must be able to work holidays and weekends
- must be flexible with shifts and unusual hours
- prior experience in the gaming industry strongly preferred
Job Qualifications

- knowledge of table service procedures and etiquette
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to present an image of excitement, enthusiasm and professionalism
- ability to communicate effectively with employees and guests
- ability to restock materials and retrieve dropped items
- ability to transport trays and plates weighing up to 50 pounds
- ability to take orders, recite specials, and point out menu items
- ability to use coffee machines, beverage dispensers, microwaves, toasters, and point-of-service systems
Job Duties
- create an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Sacramento at Fire Mountain their choice for gaming entertainment
- recognize guests immediately with a friendly, courteous greeting and inform them of daily specials
- act as an information center representative providing information on Hard Rock services and facilities
- assist guests with menu and beverage selection demonstrating salesmanship and product knowledge
- ensure guest satisfaction through food quality checks and responsiveness to complaints
- maintain a well-groomed, neat, and clean appearance with attention to sanitation and safety
- anticipate, identify, and provide for guest needs
- perform inventories and other assigned duties
- perform tableside cooking, salad entrées, desserts and present wines
- attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-ups
- assist with duties at special events or parties including carving, cooking, setup, or teardown
- clean and distribute ash trays
- sanitize work and public spaces
- perform other duties as assigned
