Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of food, wine, and liquor products is a plus
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Positive attitude and creative problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Report to work on time as indicated on the work schedule
- Ensure uniform meets restaurant requirements and is maintained and cleaned
- Practice positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during all work shifts
- Exemplify hospitality standards
- Answer guest's questions about the restaurant
- Handle requests and complaints with guest satisfaction as the priority
- Cooperate with management and co-workers to assist others with duties if needed
- Communicate suggestions for improvement in a positive fashion
- Follow all national, state, and local safety, health, and sanitation guidelines as specified by the restaurant
- Report potentially unsafe conditions and use materials and equipment properly
- Know emergency procedures in the restaurant
- Perform all duties and maintain knowledge of all standards and procedures as stated in the associate handbook
