Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Knowledge of food, wine, and liquor products is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and creative problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Report to work on time as indicated on the work schedule
  • Ensure uniform meets restaurant requirements and is maintained and cleaned
  • Practice positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during all work shifts
  • Exemplify hospitality standards
  • Answer guest's questions about the restaurant
  • Handle requests and complaints with guest satisfaction as the priority
  • Cooperate with management and co-workers to assist others with duties if needed
  • Communicate suggestions for improvement in a positive fashion
  • Follow all national, state, and local safety, health, and sanitation guidelines as specified by the restaurant
  • Report potentially unsafe conditions and use materials and equipment properly
  • Know emergency procedures in the restaurant
  • Perform all duties and maintain knowledge of all standards and procedures as stated in the associate handbook
