Job Requirements
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Basic understanding of cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a polite and attentive demeanor
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Able to work in a team serving environment
- May require a food handler's certification, depending on local regulations
- Must have a valid form of identification
- Must have the knowledge to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Must have the knowledge to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and tips
- Must have the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- Must be able to learn and utilize Toast Point-of-Sale (POS) and Restaurant365 systems
- Must have the ability to use common sense to understand and carry out written and oral instructions
- Must have the ability to creatively solve problems in a fast-paced environment using experience and an outside-the-box mindset
- Must have sufficient physical mobility or agility to respond quickly to fire or other emergencies
- Must be able to stand, walk, reach, handle, manipulate, talk, hear, taste, and smell
- Must be able to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and occasionally lift or carry up to 50 pounds
- Must occasionally sit, climb stairs, or maintain balance
- Must have close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in the restaurant industry
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge and passion for tableside service, wine, and craft cocktails are a plus
- Meets state minimum age (18) to serve alcohol
- Basic knowledge of English
- Ability to read, understand and follow both verbal and written company directives and initiatives
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of government policies and regulations
- Able to effectively answer questions and speak before groups
Job Duties
- Answer questions about the menu, sell restaurant’s food and drinks, and communicate orders with the kitchen
- Stay guest focused and sustain an excellent guest experience
- Possess strong food and beverage knowledge
- Keep all working stations clean, organized and properly stocked
- Perform daily and weekly cleaning duties
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensure charges are accurate and return correct change to guest
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
