We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dependable Food and Beverage Servers to join our dynamic Sycuan team. This hourly position plays a crucial role in enhancing guest satisfaction by delivering prompt and courteous food and drink service within the casino and assigned dining areas. The ideal candidate will be proactive in engaging with guests, accurately taking and serving orders, and ensuring that each visit is a pleasurable experience. In addition to interacting with guests, the server will handle point-of-sale transactions, manage cash handling duties efficiently, and uphold cleanliness and organization standards in the service area. Emphasis will be placed on promoting guest relations through friendly communication and providing up-to-date information on promotions and giveaways.

Candidates should possess a County of San Diego ServSafe Food Handler Card and a CA ABC Responsible Beverage Service Certification as essential credentials for this role. The position demands a strong ability to multitask in a high-volume environment while maintaining excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Physical requirements include the capability to stand and walk for extended periods, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a smoking environment, which is typical in casino settings. Job Duties

Provides guests with service by acknowledging and welcoming guests entering the casino and assigned areas, promptly taking and serving orders, responding to guest requests, and collecting and processing payment and returning change following established procedures
Promotes guest relations by responding to guest requests, offering appropriate up to date information regarding promotional contests and giveaways, providing requested assistance, and treating guests in a friendly and courteous manner
Provides accounting of transactions during shift by entering cash transactions in point-of-sale system, counting currency, logging guest discounts, VIP points and credit cards on cashier drop work sheet, balancing money drawer against generated cashier report following established procedures, and reporting discrepancies to the food services management team
Ensures restaurant stations are stocked and clean by completing and submitting supply requisitions, placing delivered water, food and supplies, cups and condiments in the server stations, and cleaning shelves, condiment holders, tables and counters according to established procedures
Maintains safe and sanitary dining areas by cleaning surfaces, emptying ashtrays, picking up used trays, plates, cups, condiments and utensils and disposing of all trash
