Job Requirements
- Proof of age
- must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol and 21 in some states
- completion of basic food handling training and any required local or state certification
- successful completion of safe alcohol service training program
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- regular and consistent attendance required
- energetic and friendly attitude
- excellent guest service skills
- accurate cash handling and basic math skills
- strong interpersonal communication skills
- ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- ability to follow directions and respond urgently
- physical capability to bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to work in a moderate to high noise environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous customer service experience beneficial
- ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- basic math skills
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- team-oriented with ability to work independently
- knowledge of safe alcohol service practices
- ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
- capable of following direction and responding with urgency
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
- possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
- accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
- responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance and distributing correct tickets
- verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
- ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
- consistently use suggestive selling techniques
- collaborate with kitchen team to ensure food orders are accurate
- consistently wipe down and sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas
- properly utilize personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
- adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
- monitor safety and security issues and report to management
- perform other work-related duties as assigned
