Job Requirements
- Proof of age as required by state law
- completion of basic food handling training and obtaining any local or state mandated certification or permit
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- regular and consistent attendance
- energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
- excellent guest service skills
- accurate cash handling and basic math skills
- interpersonal communication skills including verbal and written English
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ability to follow directions and respond with a sense of urgency
- physical ability to bend, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to work in a moderate to high noise environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in customer service or food and beverage service is preferred
- knowledge of alcohol service laws and safety protocols
- strong communication skills
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- basic math skills for cash handling
- certification in safe alcohol service training or willingness to complete training
- familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
- possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
- accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
- responsible for all transactions done on assigned register
- verifies identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
- ensures that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
- consistently use suggestive selling techniques
- collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
- consistently wipes down and sanitizes employee and guest high-contact areas
- properly utilizes personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
- adapts to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
- monitors safety and security issues and reports to management
- performs other work-related duties as assigned
