Job Requirements
- Proof of age for alcohol service (18 or 21 depending on state)
- Completion of basic food handling training and local/state certification or permit as required
- Completion of safe alcohol service training
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Energetic and friendly attitude
- Excellent guest service skills
- Accurate cash handling and basic math skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work well in team and independently
- Ability to follow directions
- Responsive with a sense of urgency
- Physical ability to frequently bend, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work in noisy environments
- Ability to use personal protective equipment properly
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic food handling training completed
- Safe alcohol service training completed
- Strong communication skills in English both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Friendly and energetic attitude
- Ability to handle cash accurately
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
- Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
- Accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
- Responsible for all transactions on assigned register including proper cash balance and security
- Verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years old for all alcohol transactions
- Ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
- Consistently use suggestive selling techniques
- Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure food orders are accurate
- Consistently sanitize high-contact areas for employees and guests
- Properly utilize personal protective equipment
- Adapt to cleaning tasks as required
- Monitor safety and security issues and report to management
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
