Job Requirements

Proof of age to serve alcohol (18 or 21 depending on state)
Completion of basic food handling training and local or state food handlers permit where required
Completion of Safe Alcohol Service training
Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Regular and consistent attendance
Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
Ability to provide excellent guest service
Accurate cash handling and math skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to work independently and in a team
Ability to take and follow direction
Sense of urgency in completing tasks
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to bend, kneel, and reach while performing duties

Job Qualifications

Proof of age to serve, pour, or mix alcoholic beverages as required by state law
Completion of basic food handling training and any mandated certification or permit
Successful completion of Safe Alcohol Service training program
Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Energetic and friendly attitude
Excellent guest service skills
Accurate cash handling and basic math skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to take and follow direction
Respond with a sense of urgency

Job Duties

Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
Accurately records food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
Responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including cash handling and ticket distribution
Verifies identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
Ensures that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
Consistently use suggestive selling techniques
Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure food orders are accurate
Consistently wipes down and sanitizes employee and guest high-contact areas
Properly utilizes personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
Adapts to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
Monitors safety and security issues and reports to management
Performs other work-related duties as assigned
