Job Requirements

Proof of age
completes basic food handling training and obtains local or state mandated certification if required
completes safe alcohol service training program
availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
regular and consistent attendance
energetic and friendly attitude
provides excellent guest service
accurate cash handling and basic math skills
effective verbal and written communication skills
ability to work independently and in a team
ability to take and follow direction
responds with a sense of urgency

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in customer service or food and beverage industry preferred
knowledge of safe alcohol service procedures
strong communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work effectively in a team environment
basic math and cash handling skills
ability to follow directions and respond with a sense of urgency
proficiency in English for verbal and written communication

Job Duties

Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance and ticket distribution
verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
consistently use suggestive selling techniques
collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
consistently wipe down and sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas
properly utilize personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
monitor safety and security issues and report to management
perform other work-related duties as assigned
