Job Requirements
- Proof of age to serve alcoholic beverages
- complete basic food handling training and obtain local or state required certification or health card
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- regular and consistent attendance
- energetic and friendly attitude
- accurate cash handling skills
- ability to communicate effectively with all ages and personalities
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in customer service or food and beverage service preferred
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
- basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- verbal and written proficiency in English
- completion of Safe Alcohol Service training program
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
- possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
- accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
- responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance and report concerns to management
- verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
- consistently use suggestive selling techniques
- collaborate with kitchen team to ensure food orders are accurate
- consistently wipes down and sanitizes employee and guest high-contact areas
- properly utilize personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
- monitor safety and security issues and report to management
- perform other work-related duties as assigned
