Job Requirements

  • Proof of age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • complete basic food handling training and obtain local or state required certification or health card
  • availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • regular and consistent attendance
  • energetic and friendly attitude
  • accurate cash handling skills
  • ability to communicate effectively with all ages and personalities
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in customer service or food and beverage service preferred
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
  • basic math skills for handling cash transactions
  • verbal and written proficiency in English
  • completion of Safe Alcohol Service training program

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
  • possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
  • accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
  • responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance and report concerns to management
  • verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
  • consistently use suggestive selling techniques
  • collaborate with kitchen team to ensure food orders are accurate
  • consistently wipes down and sanitizes employee and guest high-contact areas
  • properly utilize personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
  • monitor safety and security issues and report to management
  • perform other work-related duties as assigned
