Job Requirements
- Proof of age (18 or 21 depending on state) to serve, pour, or mix alcoholic beverages
- completion of Safe Alcohol Service training program
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- regular and consistent attendance
- energetic and friendly attitude
- excellent guest service skills
- basic math skills
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to work in a team and independently
- ability to take and follow direction
- respond promptly and with urgency
- physical ability to bend, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to work in a noisy environment
Job Qualifications
- Proof of age to legally serve alcohol
- basic food handling training and any local or state mandated certification or permits where required
- ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all ages, genders, and personalities
- effective English communication skills
- team player with ability to work independently
- ability to follow direction and respond with urgency
- accurate cash handling and basic math skills
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
- possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
- accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
- responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance and ticket distribution
- verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
- ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
- use suggestive selling techniques consistently
- collaborate with kitchen team to ensure food orders are accurate
- wipe down and sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas
- properly utilize personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
- adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
- monitor safety and security issues and report to management
- perform other work-related duties as assigned
