Job Description

Davis Hospitality Group is a dynamic and rapidly growing hospitality company that has established itself as a reputable presence in the Louisiana dining scene. Founded in 2016, the group prides itself on creating memorable guest experiences through its commitment to quality, service, and community engagement. With a strong portfolio that includes Eliza Restaurant & Bar, the group is dedicated to embracing local culture and cuisine while fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment for its employees. Eliza Restaurant & Bar, a flagship establishment under the Davis Hospitality Group umbrella, offers contemporary Creole cuisine crafted from fresh, local ingredients prepared in a scratch kitchen. The restaurant emphasizes a warm and welcoming atmosphere where hospitality is as important as the food itself, making it a favorite among locals and visitors alike.

The role of Server/Bartender at Davis Hospitality Group, specifically at Eliza Restaurant & Bar, is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about food and hospitality who are eager to grow their professional skills within a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment. This position requires employees to work closely with fellow restaurant personnel to maintain a positive workplace culture, uphold high standards of food safety and cleanliness, and deliver consistent, quality service to guests. The company values team players who bring a positive attitude, reliability, and a readiness to learn and improve continuously. Both full-time and part-time shifts are available with flexibility in scheduling, including day and evening options, making this role adaptable to diverse lifestyle needs.

Applicants need to be at least 18 years old and must either possess or be willing to obtain the Louisiana Responsible Vendor (RV) Server Permit, ensuring compliance with state regulations. Practical physical ability is also essential, as employees must be capable of lifting and carrying items weighing between 10 to 55 pounds. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required, underscoring the importance of dependability in attendance and punctuality. Previous restaurant experience is favored but not mandatory, as paid and ongoing training programs are provided to help new hires acclimate, build their expertise, and pursue career advancement within the company.

Working as a Server/Bartender for Davis Hospitality Group not only involves interaction with a diverse clientele and service delivery but also opens pathways for personal and professional development through comprehensive training, benefits such as dining allowances, and participation in a referral program that reflects the company’s investment in its workforce. The Group’s commitment to work-life balance is further underscored by flexible scheduling options, reinforcing its reputation as an employer of choice in the hospitality industry.

Overall, this role offers a unique blend of vibrant work culture, opportunities for growth, and the chance to be part of a respected team dedicated to excellence in service and food quality. If you are enthusiastic, team-oriented, and motivated to build a career in hospitality, Davis Hospitality Group welcomes your application to join their team and contribute to the continued success of Eliza Restaurant & Bar.
