The Server/Bartender (Part-time) role at Holiday Inn & Suites involves direct interaction with restaurant customers by providing excellent food and drink service. This position operates under general supervision and requires employees to greet guests warmly with a positive attitude and maintain professionalism at all times. The server/bartender prepares and presents menu items, ensures the cleanliness and organization of the service area, and adheres strictly to health and sanitation regulations. The position includes taking accurate food and drink orders and timely delivery to the tables. Job Requirements
- High School diploma or secondary qualification or equivalent
- experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards
- maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per company standards
- regular attendance in conformance with standards
- ability to work varying schedules to meet business needs
- attendance at scheduled training sessions and meetings
- full compliance with company rules and regulations
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and/or holidays

Job Duties
- Greet every guest with a smile and positive attitude
- prepare and present items, organize and maintain a clean service area, clean tables and area, and follow all health codes
- ensure all guests are dealt with in a professional, consistent manner and handle difficult situations diplomatically
- take guests' food and drink orders and ensure accurate and timely delivery
- assist with setting tables and rearranging tables to accommodate larger parties
- provide a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with safety programs, health department requirements, and job safety analysis
- maintain and enforce sanitation laws and safety standards in the kitchen and restaurant area
- follow all applicable company standard operating procedures
