Job Requirements

Food handler’s permit required
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Ability and willingness to work a varied and flexible schedule including weekends, days, nights, and holidays
Must tolerate prolonged periods of standing, walking
occasional kneeling, bending, and stooping
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed, push up to 75 pounds as needed
Must tolerate exposure to cleaning solutions

Job Qualifications

Food handler’s permit
Prior customer service or food service experience preferred
Knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage service
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
Basic math skills for handling transactions
Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

Greet guests warmly and ensure a friendly, welcoming environment
Accurately take and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages according to standardized recipes
Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with professionalism and efficiency
Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods
Prepare and present food and beverages attractively and consistently
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times
Assist with stocking and restocking food, beverage, and barista supplies
Accurately process cash, credit card, and room charge transactions using the point-of-sale system
Balance cash drawer and reconcile payments at the end of each shift
Follow all company procedures for handling financial transactions and safeguarding assets
Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth service operations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, barista station, and dining space
Bus, clean and reset tables and bar area for next guest
Complete pre- and post-shift responsibilities including stocking, cleaning, mopping floors, cleaning service areas
Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines
Report any maintenance issues or damaged equipment
Maintain professionalism with coworkers and guests
Other duties may be assigned by management
